Feel grounded with Sophrology

In Sophrology, all our protocols start with grounding exercices. It is so important to first learn to be in our bodies, in this moment without judgement. We first have to feel the solidity of our body, the solidity of our connection to ourselves so we can move forward with confidence. To do this in Sophrology, we use the breath to be in the moment, we use our body and the feeling of the gravity connecting us the the earth. We also learn to relax our body and install calm and harmony in our mind. If you want to feel grounded, you can do this quick exercice:

- Take a few minutes, stand still and close your eyes. Be aware of your body standing tall between the earth and the sky. Feel your feet planted securely on the floor. Connect yourself to your breath by feeling the air going in through your nostrils to arrive in your belly. Watch the natural rhythm of your breath for a couple of minutes. Now be aware of your body sensations, scan your body and see if you can feel tingles, maybe warmth or cold, maybe pain or tension. Whatever it is just let it be without judgement. Stay connected to your breath, to your body and to the earth. Feel solid and steady, feel calm and in harmony. Let a feeling of feeling of strength emerge, and with each breath you feel a more grounded, stronger, more connected and present.

Whenever you are ready just gently open your eyes and come back to your day.
